A hidden gem along the North Wales coast. With breathtaking views you see the areas of Rhos-on-Sea, Llandudno, Towyn and Anglesey from a different perspective. At the summit views towards Liverpool and even further North to Backpool are possible. The summit can be reached from either the Rhos side or Llandudno side, not far from the coop or opposite the Craigside respectively. The Craigside trek is much easier (as you’re already half way up the mountain) than the Rhos side which has a really steep gradient if coming from Angel Bay. There are plenty of marker posts along the way to ensure you don’t wander too far off the trail too. Once at the top though you’re rewarded with the most amazing views; a walk to try at leat once in your lifetime if possible.

Well worth a walk either up and back or a circular one going over the top and back along the road. Make sure to have a peek at the grey seals at Angel Bay. When you get back down to the road on the Llandudno side you can turn right to the Premiere Inn which has a pub or go left and head back to Rhos and stop at the Beer Cave or the Home from Home restaurant. Or even the Penrhyn Old Hall. Just as you get back to the seafront the Beach Cafe on the corner is worth a visit.

A quiet alterative to the great orme but you have to find your own way. You follow a marked path half way up but after that it is waking through fields and over rocks to find your own way. The views from the top are great and I would say much better than the top of the great orme. Lovely walk however would be much improved with the addition of some signs.
