It's off the beaten track and being a Swansea girl I did not know this place existed, even before the addition of the park. Plenty of car parking available and there is a little coffee pod☕ there too. This section is open and backs onto the estuary ( open water ! 🌊🌊) There is a path for a walk.
The park itself has plenty for all, and its great for all ages! I loved the slide but because it's plastic which is great in the summer! Lots of accessible equipment. I really recommend this park, not just for the park but the surrounding area too. Definitely picnic worthy and easily a morning or afternoon ...

For the able bodied, it's a great spot for walking, jogging, cycling, dog walking, etc. For those of us less able, it's a nice spot to park up and have a little picnic in the car. It's also a great place for a bit of bird spotting, with visitors including herons, little egrets, several species of goose, plover, curlews, duck and numerous other wildfowl and waders. A popular spot for dog walkers, and non dog owners like myself, who get to see and interact with some, pretty much on every visit.
