Second time we visited the Yeading B&M store to buy single bed. Yesterday when we visited a very unfriendly Asian staff said “if the product is not on shelf that means the product is not in the warehouse”. We called customer service and automated system said to check online for the availability and pick up from the chosen store. According to website it shows Yeading store had good availability. So again me, my husband my daughter went to the store this morning and approached the store or shift manager directly, he was also Asian Pakistani or Indian and was so rude in his body language and not approachable at all. The way he behaved like we were disturbing him. However he went inside to check and comeback and said that was stock record error and don’t know when the stock will come. Where other store Slough and Ruislip store staff were was very friendly and helped us find out when the next delivery of the product. Yeading manager need done training and coaching of how to provide good customer service. His behaviour was he’s someone very special and we are homeless beggars. Even my 12 years old daughter was asking me why the guy is so rude. Now we are searching online for mattress and online availability shows Yeading has good availability but we know what the answer will be from the store managers or staff. Read moreNice shop and variety of items but horrible staff's attitude. I have just walked out from the shop left unsatisfied and without purchase, what a waste of time! Staff does not bother to help customer to make the purchase at all, such a shame for the company. As a business person I would suggest retraining your staff on being polite and customer oriented, to avoid business loss. I have only asked one of your staff, middle age lady (that clearly was not happy to be asked about anything) if there are any storage boxes for sale (as I have bought some from this shop couple of months ago), and she said: "yes in the warehouse and if I have any particular in mind" to which I replied, "well not really, not sure, but.." and she made funny face (expressing her annoyance) and just bluntly turned around and walked off... without ANY reply, any further questions or recommendations, oh well, I was left speechless...I think it is just lack of manners and clearly she should not be working in the customer service, as she obviously...
Read moreI’m writing as the mother of a customer who had an extremely frustrating experience at the B&M store in UB4 9SN. My daughter exchanged a faulty product bought less than a week ago and provided a bank statement as proof of purchase. What should have been a simple exchange ended up taking over an hour.
The supervisor, named “Shukr,” repeatedly refused to serve my child promptly and even prevented a colleague who was willing to help. I personally witnessed the supervisor giving my child dirty looks throughout the ordeal. To make matters worse, another customer completed the same type of exchange without a receipt, showing clear inconsistency. My daughter was left confused and unsupported, and even the first cashier seemed unsure about what was happening.
This was unprofessional, unfair, and stressful. I hope B&M addresses this behaviour to ensure customers are treated respectfully...
