The only good thing in Blythe Hill Fields is the view out of it. The drabbest mid-size park in Lewisham borough due to a clueless volunteer group called the 'Friends' of Blythe Hill Fields' ; going since 2003 and given green light support of Lewisham Council and its private contractor 'Glendale' because they give both Council and contractor an easy ride with no park improvement year on year of great note to interfere with the Friends' only obsession to organise a 5 hour per year annual July Festival. It's the same format every year for the Friends' - spend the first half of each year organising their Festival and then it all goes silent. To back up what I say - 2015 saw fox proof bins installed as a Friends' initiative in the park. Since then, an single, outdoor table tennis table in 2018. It was a wonderful day and it is a wonderful place to visit...

The park entrance signs are really delapidated. The Noticeboard had no up to date information and looked very tired as if no one was bothering. The views out of the park could just about compensate for the fact that there is very little to view [and do] inside of it.
POOR, POOR, POOR. It is like a School Report from the old days reading, "Could do a...
