One of my most favorite places to walk the dog in Hayes and Harlington area. What I love about it most is huge open spaces, river, beautiful old trees, apple orchard, an old church and biggest blackberry bushes you heave ever seen full of fruit in the Summer... Somehow all the dog walkers I meet there are super friendly and we always come back happy. It is located near Heathrow airport and you hear and see the airplanes landing and taking off which is loud and might not be everybody's cup of tea but I find it soothing.

Love this place. It's so calming just to be able to sit on the pond. The park has ample space for long walks in woods and gardens, and for those who visit it for the first time it seems like a wonder when one all of a sudden stumbles across the mansion. It just opens up from the darkness of the woods. Particularly nice in autumn when out and about with the little ones, we collected so many different leaves to colour at home and frame for safekeeping ❤

A real hidden gem with such great grounds and amazing history. The site was used by the knights Templar’s and is recorded in the Domesday book. Go and visit if you haven’t already. Walk along the paths and through the forest area / go off the beaten track and through the orchard. Walk along the river crane and visit St. Dunstan’s Church which has some famous residents.

Always a nice stretch for the dog. However, the amount holes in the ground that's starting to appear, almost like someone has been metal detecting, is starting to make it a bit hazardous for dog owners. Please keep your eyes peeled, I try to fill the holes that I see as no one wants their beloved pet with a broken leg.

Quite worrying the amount of suspicious men that I see walking around this park that keep going offtrack into the forest, almost minutes after the one in front has gone in.

Pretty certain someone is living in the center woodlands too as quite common to see a barbecue...

Love walking our dog here & he loves it too. Never crowded, but a well used park land with open spaces, wooded areas, a clean river for dogs to splash around in, a stream and a large enclosed field (used for cattle in spring & summer) that is great if you are wary of letting your pooch off lead. At this time of year be prepared for mud, especially along the river side of the park and the entrances to the enclosed field A tranquil site considering the location is between Heathrow...
