You aren't exactly spoiled for choice with outdoor climbing if you live in London, but Fairlop Waters Boulder Park is surprisingly good.
The boulders are very well made: if you didn't know that they were man-made, you'd be hard pressed to tell as the texture of the concrete and the size and shape of the holds and features is very similar to real rock.
There's a good variety of features too, from small crimps to grit-like slopers and big, friendly jugs. Also, there's a good spread of grades, so the boulders are suitable for everyone, from beginner climbers to seasoned boulderers.

Each boulder seems to simulate a different type of rock face as well as different difficulty levels. So it's good for both adults and children.
Areas are very clean and there's low danger risk because surrounding the boulders are small pebbles which are also deep. I feel a solid 10 feet and wasn't injured so in my opinion it's good. AWESOME AREA...

Parking loses you all stars. App is useless, I'm technical and was unable to use it. There is no other options, steady flow of patrons turning up and leaving 15 minutes later frustrated. 6 vehicles parked in a car park for 100s of cars in the middle of school holidays, the businesses will likely be bust by next year, what a shame.
