I visited owls adventure house today on the 14/03/16 and I was very disappointed I have visited here many times with my daughter and thinking not to return. first of all service is very slow there seems to be no. Then whilst sitting having lunch there was a complaint next to me the (customer) ladies had been waiting quite a while to see the manager after one or their daughters had ran in to the corner of the table injuring herself and within half an hour two other children tripped injuring themselves, I'm not sure if they have a accident report book but before I left I told the ladies to make sure they report it as they weren't offered. now this is where I really think you should rethink the layout and rules. The tables are tightly packed together bags shoes buggies everywhere a serious trip hazard and surly doesn't comply with fire safety, I feel there should be a buggy park put in place should hand in shoes at desk which you received token to retrieve and lockers to keep your personal belongings. Now back to the complaint I whitnessed I feel the manager on duty needs retraining as she lost control of the complaint she kept on Rudely interrupting the (customer) lady telling her that it was the (customer) lady's opinion that the safety needed looking at which was not a opinion it was fact she was taking the complaint very personal and instead of calming the situation she made it worse there was no apology or even a promise of her looking into the complaint and kept on repeating that there are 22000 happy people implying that the lady's complaint didn't matter the (customer) lady also pointed out that plug sockets were not covered this I feel is a very important point as there are children running around everywhere a very dangerous hazard the manager then threatened to walk away and not deal with the complaint any longer. After whitnessing this I felt I had to leave as I was sickened by the lack of interest about safety by management. Before leaving I visited the toilet to which I was discussted there was sanitary rappers all over the floor smelt terrible and no toilet paper all the staff seemed to be more interested in helping themselves to drinks and chatting rather than running the place I felt I had to make you aware of this as I would love to come back but only if these...
Read moreToday I had the worst experience ever in Owls unfortunately, I have been customer since my daughter was 2. I use to love it, let's say we have a lot of souvenirs of her playing there. I decided to do my daughter's party In Owls as we haven't done her birthday since 2020, unfortunately they mess up my party with unprofessional, management misusing their power. they really made me so sad and mad as well, they only offer in the package chicken nuggets and fish fingers, some of my daughter's friends they don’t like the offered food so I got some extra sandwiches and some fruit shoot for the kids I end up, being surrounded with very unprofessional people starting with the deputy manager who brought us within the first 10mn a security guy, while I was loading things from my car, all what we had was simple conversation and then I run to pay for my car parking and because of that conversation I was late and got ticket already. She made me so frustrated all the mums were upset kids were really sad thinking that they have to leave, after the other manager was threatening us to kick us out, just because of some sandwiches and extra drinks. The deputy manager brought the security guy and another manager of the boat place shouting right on top of the mum's head, so unprofessional they wasted so much time of the party and created a stressful feeling and atmosphere. They kept saying that we signed terms and Conditions, they could solve the issue and make everybody happy. For a £40 or £50 they wanted me to spend momey in their cafe, it actually cost them the loss of so many customers, because of their aggressive and unprofessional behaviour towards me and towards my guests. We all were disappointed. Very low level of behaviour of the deputy manager and the manager who asked her to bring security while we were so peaceful, and respectfu mums ONLY I don't DEFINITELY DON'T recommend this place, do...
Read moreI initially read some very negative reviews on here regarding the cleanliness, hygiene, general maintenance of this facility and therefore refrained from going here but after exhausting most other local soft play centres I decided to give this a go and it is probably going to be the main one I go to from now on. I went at a relatively quiet time so it wasn’t too crazy as some people have suggested (don’t see why that should be an issue as kids tend to run around and parents would rather let them enjoy themselves?) but it was not unclean or untidy, two of the tables were not wiped Dow but considering how many people are in and out so regularly it would be no surprise if staff just had not got to that table to clean yet, I also noticed a crisp packet somewhere but that isn’t something staff control unless they’re physically climbing and checking the soft play area constantly and as a result getting in the way of all the kids playing? I feel some of the review I have seen are quite harsh and unreasonable and think this is a brilliant facility, especially considering it is only charging a fraction of the price compared to other places which are not as good. There was plenty of variety here too, surprisingly enough. And car parking! Which was definitely a plus and just encourages you to go more really. I’m awarding 4 stars instead of 5 because the coffee actually tasted horrible and I feel when you come to a place like this you would want to sit back and let the kids play and enjoy your own time with some...
