I visit Gallions Reach Park regularly, and it’s always a pleasant experience. The park is spacious, well-maintained, and offers plenty of green space for walking, jogging, or simply enjoying the outdoors. The combination of open fields and tree-lined paths makes it ideal for families or anyone looking to unwind. One of the highlights is the peaceful view of the River Thames – it’s a great spot to enjoy the scenery while on the move. Although there aren’t many places to sit, the park’s tranquil atmosphere makes up for it, especially for those who enjoy a more active outdoor experience. What I appreciate most is how quiet and calm the park is, even on weekends, making it a perfect escape from the busyness of the city. All in all, Gallions Reach Park is a fantastic local green space and a hidden gem. Highly recommend it for a refreshing walk or run.

Gallions Reach Park is a hidden gem in London. Nestled along the Thames River, this park offers a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The well-maintained green spaces, scenic walking trails, and picnic areas make it an ideal spot for relaxation and outdoor activities. The views of the river and the nearby Thames Barrier add to its charm. However, it can get crowded on weekends, so visiting on weekdays is recommended for a quieter experience. Overall, Gallions Reach Park is a lovely place to unwind and connect with nature in the heart of London.

I think place is a great hidden viewpoint that not a lot of people know about. I absolutely loved coming here and the main reason wasn’t just for the views but for the hill! It sounds crazy but it’s great fun to cycle up the hill and obviously back down again (with caution Ofc). you could also take the stairs if you’re travelling by foot but it wasn’t busy and the views were good. I think on a clearer day it would have been even better. there isn’t much to do apart from views but a hidden gem of east London.

This place used to be very clean and well-maintained but now we noticed the park been misused. Dog waste is not picked. Lots of empty drink bottles are scattered around even though the bins facilities are available. Placed been used for barbecue causing fire hazards. You will see the non residents coming to do fishing at the river line. Local residents is paying good annual charges for maintenance of this park. It should be strictly monitored. Pea body is trying its best to keep the grass lawned regularly. Lots of work in keeping this hugh park neat and tidy. But for some reasons now we seen difference in cleanliness. I hope we don't see further drop in the facilities provided...

Definitely worth a visit for a sunny stroll with the Mrs or kids.

This is a really nice gem of a park which had a nice paves pathway lead up to the entrance with great views of the River Thames.

The park consists of an assortment of hills to clim and catch views of the very well maintained grounds.

There is a really cool play area for kids that has things such as a slide, swings, trampoline pad, climbing apparatus and much more!!!

The icing on the cake has to be the massive hill at the end that has a concrete pathway which spirals upntonthr summit. Don't worry if you get tired as there are many benches to relax on and take in the views.

A 5 stars for sure...
