B&M Store — Local services in London

Went in store today 15th June 2025 at the tills see a trolley of reduced bread due it being final shelf display date reduced to 20p so I grabbed 2 upon leaving noticed I had been charged full price £1.25 each so I went back in store the female employee on the tills was very polite and called a manger for assistance to override the till to reduce the item for this only to go down hill from there a small Asian (Indian) lady with glasses came over and rapidly began giving attitude telling me I can’t have the items it’s for mangers only so as I disputed this saying it was not on the sign she began to talk down to me with an appalling attitude telling me I’m wrong and I can’t take nothing it’s a communication issue another Asian member of staff came over and was very polite and understanding and said just give the gentleman the his money back and correct the item the original woman in glasses then decided to state to me I’m not speaking to you I’m talking to my colleague stand and wait whilst getting in my face!

This employee or manger what ever her title is a disgrace and has zero customer service skills or respect and I highly recommend she has some serious training in customer care before she causes serious issues in this store will not be returning whilst this arrogant individual is...

I understand this store is new open and people are keen to visit it and it needs to be restocked, but I was shocked how awful my visit was yesterday. First, there are too many abandoned stock cages, that are wating for staff to refill the shelves and empty boxes or boxes with stock just laying around, that have made it very difficult to move about and is extremely dangerous should the building have to be evacuated as you’d find your escape rout blocked. I counted 6 stock cages and a few boxes in one aisle and no staff working on them. Second, the music is far, far too loud you can’t hear yourself think. Third, there is no screens on the till points, so you can’t see what’s being scanned and I now have to decide if I could be bothered to go back as I’ve been over charged for 3 items. We visited the Thamesmead B and M store today for its grand opening. Wow what a shambles ,there were queues down each of the aisles ,which were blocking the way for shoppers to browse the shelves. There were too many aisles making it difficult for shoppers to pass each other especially with with trollies. There were items in the aisles making it even more difficult to pass and being knocked over due to the lack of space ,also people started arguing regarding the poorly controlled queing system .
