KFC Thamesmead - Cannon Retail Park — Restaurant in London

Encountered rude customer service from Thamida( Asst Manager) she thinks she own the shop. No talking entiques towards the customers. Her colleague gave us the wrong order and was shouting at us why we picked the wrong order and said we should know what we order. Why would you even call out the customer table number and give us wrong order in first place and we didn’t even touch the food. Thamida comes to our table and shouts this is not your order and I told her this is the reason we didn’t touch the food and we were looking for receipts but on the counter they took the receipt and bun it and gave us the wrong order? She was arguing with us as if we were her slave and we didn’t even touch the food. We said we don’t need the food do the refund as we had ordered 2 separate transaction. And started asking for receipt which they bin if so I have to my bank app on phone and show her the transaction in order to do the receipt still she didn’t even lower her voice down. Ordered KFC through app and collected via drive thru. Very quick and straightforward. Chicken, chips, gravy and coleslaw were all very tasty.

However, the next time we went in to order in store - a BBQ tower and 2 chicken pieces meals, and tried to collect a free side dish as had a code (sent via email), the girl with the head scarf/female staff who was at the cashier/order bar, kept giving us 'dirty/disdainful looks' for no reason at all. Looking 'down at us' like we were filth (my husband is English and I am Vietnamese). Her attitude was appalling. She did not bother to talk to us or even try to find out how to enter the code and help us with our order. Luckily there were two other men staff who came over who knew what they were doing and they helped us, without any problems and with a calmer and friendlier attitude. A different female staff (also had a head scarf) came out to hand us our order was nice, bubbly & smiley - she and the two male staff are keeping KFC from being a total disaster in customer service. Ended up not taking my order as they were back-logged with orders. The staffs have no urgency and are in no hurry apart from one person to fulfill orders. Literally one man running the joint. During the wait, there must have been 7 other people waiting to collect their orders. People coming back saying they were missing their chips and drinks. Staff is basically re-ordering food with customer already having their receipts and having to hand back to staff to re-order. Other than the one employee working hard the others are clueless and literally standing around when they are already behind in orders.
