Lovely little loop to walk around. Dogs have to be kept on the lead. It’s mostly shaded so nice and cool in the summer and because it’s raised up, it can also be less wet and muddy than other nearby places. Lovely view of the pond and also of the Thames in some areas. There’s lots of benches to sit and take in the view/have a sandwich on! lovely ambience noise with lots of birds singing. There’s often swans in the pond. Read moreIt was a lovely February (2019) day today so took a walk up to the Leg "O" mutton nature reserve. Really beautiful, peaceful and quiet with all the birds and wildlife making a lot of lovely noise in the bright sunshine. I would say that in wet weather take a pair of good boots but the path was okay today.
