Lovely little loop to walk around. Dogs have to be kept on the lead. It’s mostly shaded so nice and cool in the summer and because it’s raised up, it can also be less wet and muddy than other nearby places. Lovely view of the pond and also of the Thames in some areas. There’s lots of benches to sit and take in the view/have a sandwich on! lovely ambience noise with lots of birds singing. There’s often swans in the pond. There are loads of really gorgeous huge wide trunk trees too. There are a few entrance gates from the Thames path and also from the other side on Lonsdale road. I usually do a loop then walk a little extra...

It was a lovely February (2019) day today so took a walk up to the Leg "O" mutton nature reserve. Really beautiful, peaceful and quiet with all the birds and wildlife making a lot of lovely noise in the bright sunshine. I would say that in wet weather take a pair of good boots but the path was okay today. They are doing quite a bit of work with the trees so stay on the paths as some of the trees are decaying so in wind could be dangerous. Lovely place to walk through close to the...

Lovely bit of Riverside. Lots of wildlife. Look out for the green parrots. A nice and relaxing, quiet part of the Thames. Perfect for a stroll or cycle. Greatly named and borders some playing fields and what looks like school sports grounds. If you head West from the south side of the decrepit, but charming Hammersmith bridge, which is so low, you need to duck on the path beneath, you will find this lovely path. Follow it along to the west for some...

One of the most beautiful and hidden spots in West London. Best way to get there is along the Thames Path heading west about a mile from Hammersmith Bridge. Look for a fork along the river walk and take the left path. This will eventually bring you to a gate which will lead you into the most peaceful and picturesque pond, that will transport you away from the hustle and bustle of the city…

Lovely nature area. Good for relaxing and bird watching. Close to Barnes bridge. Next to the Thames river and the running/cycling path between Barnes and Hammersmith bridges.
