Lillie Road Recreation Ground — Attraction in London

Dog walk here but it often has a lot of rubbish strewn about and last visit had lot of teenage girls from what must be a local school who ran past screaming because my very small dog was waking in here. Scared her a lot. She is rescue and quite uncalled for. It dies have areas with fenced enclosures for people who want to allow their dogs off-lead in a closed in space. Mine does not need this. Paths are in use bad disrepair in a lot of places but it is green space and in London there are not many especially in this area. If you want grass this is a good place for your dog and this makes it quite popular. You will find a lot of people walk their dogs here. Exits are close to a busy road so need to be extra careful nd their isn't a designated parking spot. It has a fee pros for children but I don't use it for this reason. Good open space to play football or rugby or any sport tbh. Always used by schools and clubs for activities. There is a dog section at the back end, which is rare in London parks now. There is also a nice kids playground good for most ages tbh, there's swings, slide, roundabout and monkey bars. But be warned your child will come out very dirty as it is quite muddy... so bring wellies when...

I do love this scrap of grass for its convenience. Its generally pretty clean, and despite being situated between a number of schools it's not usually over run.
