I have revisited them and decided to update my review. However, i will leave my old review here.

I lived in the local area for 15 years. Been eating here almost once a week since. They were the best for many years. Not any more. Order a lamb ribs to go last night. Arrived at the shop and it was still cooking. Great! I like them freshly cooked.
He was busy doing some other orders. Then the fries were ready. He boxed two portions and set them on the counter. The first box was for the lady before me. Then he checked my lamb. Still not ready. He left my box of chips sitting on the counter while he prep other orders. 5 min later, he checked my lamb. Still not ready.
That's when he realised that my chips had been sitting in the open all these time. He quickly closed the box and continue to let it sit there steaming in its own heat.
Another 5 min later, her checked the lamb. It's ready. He took the lamb and was going to just box it up for me. I stopped him and reminded him that the chips are cold. He reluctantly put the chips back into the fryer to warm it up again. But he muttered under his breath "how you know that the chips are cold?"
I told him "that's because i have been staring at it on the table for the last 10 min mate".
In the past, they used to give a large portion of salad when you order food. Not any more. The salad i had last night consists of 3 pieces of lettuce, 2 slices of tomato and one pickled chili. No cabbage. Not enough fiber to get stuck in my teeth.
It is sad that such a great take away has reduced to this. I used to give them consistent 5 stars for the last few years. Not any more. One star and i will not be back.

Ok i decided to go back to them out of habit. When the guy behind the counter recognised me as the one who posted the negative review, he started having a go at me.
Really? A customer who gave you a one star review is now back and this is what you do with your only chance to correct it?
Luckily, there's another older guy at the bbq today. He apologized for my previous experience and asked that i give them another chance.
I told him that's why i am back today for my usual order.
He really put in his best into my smoked lamb ribs. All the fat were nicely rendered. The fries were crispy. Totally back to the original 5 star.

Main arrived with parts missing waitress also brought out the main with the starter . Starter parts where burnt over cooked. I had to send back my main as it went cold while eating the starter which in the end didnât eat due to it being burnt. When I set the main back the manager was very rude even though I had explained he had sent it out to early. My husband main was dry over cooked hard to chew. So I once again explained that we was not paying for food that we couldnât eat and had sent back . Once again manager shouted accused us of trying to get out of paying . We have been eating there on and off over 10 years . Different people take over. These particular people who have taken it over are rude and donât know how to resolve the problem issues . He just shouted in front of other dinners saying I have bills to pay I canât loose monie like this . I politely said back rather loudly why should I pay for food I cannot eat or sent back his reply was you shouldnât of taking a bite you should of sent it back first I did explain that until you taste you can really complain while this was going on only then did the waitress bring the missing parts of the starter I said to the manager see I rest my case how do you expect diners to eat a main when starter haded completely arrive.    Read moreNEVER TO RETURN HERE AGAIN. I ordered 2x number 32 and 1x 31 on the menu. The order was wrong when it came out which wasn't a big issue and most of the food was good, some lacked flavour. Anyway, all the tables have menus placed under a glass table cover and you read the menu wherever you are seated. Where I was seated, it clearly stated that item 32 was £19 and 31 was £17. When I went to pay for my meal at the counter, the waiter said my bill was £117, some £50 more than what I expected to pay. I told the waiter that this was wrong and I took him to where I was seated and showed him the price of the items and therefore, the price should reflect what was stated on the menu. Even the menu next to the cash till had the same prices as what I had on my table. The waiter then kept saying no they increased their prices and the menu that I ordered from was wrong and took to me to 3 other tables that had the new increased prices. He was also very rude and had no customer service manners. I explained to him that this wasn't the point, where I was sitting the menu prices reflected my decision on what to order. More importantly, if the price difference was 10-20% more I wouldn't have batted an eye lid. The fact that the new price for each dish was £34 was astonishing nearly double than what was advertised in the first place. I reluctantly paid the amount but I told him that I would be reporting this to the Trading Standards for unfair trading.
