This is my go to park on my early morning walks. Love the trees and grass areas which have a rural wildness feel to them, similar to being in a Country park. Tall grass, Rose bushes, carefully tended too. Take in some shade sitting down on the grass under a tall leafy tree. Perfect Park for grounding exercise early mornings. There is also a Childrens play area Swings, Slides etc very popular. An open air gym area, comprising of gym equipment perfect for a gym workout which is free to use. Tennis Courts, enclosures for Cricketers, lovely Cafe, plenty of Dog bins to dispose of dog waste. Lots of balance, climbing equipment, pulley swing for kids all made from wood to entertain all. Great local park for relaxing in or exercising, whether it be on foot or Cycling. Plenty of benches, to sit down on all spread out...

Mayo’s Park is one of Lewisham hidden treasures. Set in a leafy surrounding residential environment it provide a vital lung enhancing this part of south east London.

There are okay facilities for the young, the teenagers and the more mature athlete to exercise and all for free.

The local dog walkers were out in force and many many families enjoying the summer weather.

The central area of the park hosts a cricket pitch which looked in fine condition although I was a bit alarmed to see families picnicking on the prepared strip / crease!

There is plenty of off street parking to all sides of the park and it is easily walkable from Forest Hill or Sydenham stations.

A great destination and we’ll...

I love Mayow park! The park is not the biggest but it has everything you need from big green grounds to a play and fitness area and a beautiful cafe! The park is a great place for every kind of celebrations, walks, community gatherings and so much more. Even the dogs are happy.

I love that I can let my daughter play freely and cycle her bike without having the fear I lose her out of sight. The park is not big but it has enough space for everything you want to do.

The best bit about the park are the people. Everyone is friendly, helpful and very welcoming to chat with you.

The cafe has a nice menu which caters for all dietary needs and the staff is very friendly and...

A lovely local park, with a big green space! They have some of the oldest trees around the area with great features to see as you walk through. There is a exercise area, tennis courts and now a new cricket pitch. There is also sometimes a show on at the bowling green. This is usually on during school holidays. We always stop of at the ice cream van. There prices seem very reasonable. The children’s area is good but could do with a small investment to fix up a couple of the apparatus. Overall though a great park that’s worth a visit

A lovely local park. There’s a very nice cosy cafe with decent coffee and delicious breakfasts, a playground, a zip line (!), a set of gym units and a sports play field. What I love is it’s big enough to never get busy. Just a perfect place for children to explore and have fun :)

Mayow Park is a nice park with some good facilities for families to enjoy. There are little play areas, climbing frames, hammocks and monkey bars in the park. There are also out door tennis courts in this park. It is a nice outdoor space to do jogging or kick a football.
