Oasis Banqueting — Attraction in London

Had held a wedding function there last August. For many reasons, the entire event was shambolic because of their staff and especially the owner!

We have had to hire a different catering company (Punjab Catering Ltd) rather than Oasis' catering (because the in-laws were unimpressed with the lacklustre old food that was given to them as a taster for them to decide to use them for the main event) And because of this, the owner was clearly spiteful and caused grievance to our caterers by turning off the gas supplies (needed to heat up the food) and also had given the caterers a "kitchen" space that was absolutely filthy (upon inspection an hour before the event) but they had pulled through (by using their mobile kitchen!!!) and they ought to be commended for providing a first class service through out the event.

It was almost 30 degrees that day and the air-conditioning was switched on and off in the small hall , whereas the big hall was as cool as winter! After many many complaints to the hall staff, they kept insisting that the AC was on and clearly in a hall full of men in suits with their sweaty foreheads said otherwise. (This was a constant complaint throughout the night)

The owner of the place was incredibly RUDE and unprofessional (dealing with business while laying smoking on the couch, barefoot and under your parents' portraits nevertheless!) - we were intending to put a chocolate fountain as to entertain the kids during the event. He insisted that he would not allow this to be installed (complaining about the mess kids can create) and threatened us with the loss of our deposit had we installed it (in the last hour!!)

It was noticeable that they had a nice big CLEAN kitchen adjoining the two halls - which they had barred the catering company from using!

Overall, the wedding had to go on with much scrutiny and have intended on warning everyone to please please avoid booking this hall! The owner is satanically evil and you'd just be...

I had my wedding here 4 years ago, and it was the biggest regret of my life! Before I even turned up to the venue I had pictures being sent to me of how dirty the venue was.. and don’t even get me started on the carpet, clearly it wasn’t cleaned and according one of their replies on a previous review they stated the carpet are cleaned weekly.. yeh right! It’s wasn’t even hoovered forget cleaning them! To be totally honest I wouldn’t even rate them a 1 *, they sold me a dream the 1st I went to them.. the second time round the owner totally went of his word and said he didn’t he didn’t state any facts on the deco! Only to realise he had drawn it all out for us. The have someone that works with them and mainly does their deco for them. Believe me it was the worst deco ever! Later speaking to the deco guy he told us that he was given instructions by the big man in charge. After seeing all this on my BIG day it left me very disheartened, I hate looking back at my wedding videos as it brings back BAD memories.. Anyways to cut the long story short I would never recommend this place, don’t fall for their words as they are a bunch of liars! The management is the worst in that place, please admit to your mistakes! These are true facts which I have full proof of as it’s all caught on camera. I feel sorry for the people you have previously conned and the people that you will soon working with. Luckily a few family/friends who were looking to book with them spoke to me before hand so didn’t go ahead.

Had my wedding in this hall. Came to view and the toilets were bad but we understood as it was a night after a party they had. We asked them for it to be clean on the day. Wedding day we arrived and the hall was not segregated. They promised to put signs up but they didn't. Manager was suddenly no where to be seen. My family were so dissapointed. Bridal room deffo needs renovating. We got promised a parking attendant but again no where to be seen on the day. The toilets were disgusting on the day. Everything was dirty and smelly. I don't know why I didn't look at the reviews before I booked this place. Management poor. Ever since my wedding day, I have requested for them to call me back but its been a month and they come up with excuses. We also had go force them to give our holding deposit back. They promise 10 days after the initial deposit but again excuses come out. We bank transferred but they ended up giving us a cheque. Most of The 5 star reviews seem like it's from family of the owners. Please think twice before booking this place. It might be cheap compared to others but I've realised why it's cheap. If there was good communication, I certainly wouldn't have done this

Update; the response written from the owner is a complete lie. Not sure why they put this up. Please ask for those evidence they have coz I certainly didn't see no segregation or signs. It seems like they are responding back to most comments inaccurately. Really didn't expect this from wise people who run this place and know how this...
