Thames Cafe — Restaurant in London

Great little cafe on River Rd Barking.have been here lots of times and always guaranteed a good big breakfast which is freshly cooked and generous portions. We go as a family and have various set breakfasts, today I had a set breakfast 8 which was £6.50 and was huge: 2 eggs 2 bacon sausage black pudding chips beans comes with 2 slices of buttered toast and a mug of tea....great :) The place is always buzzing with people especially local workers and the Sunday market shoppers stop there a lot too. Nice food and lots of menu options like roast dinners, burgers etc... always welcoming .would recommend if you are looking for a local cafe with generous portions for great prices, no frills but friendly...

I haven't visited the cafe in person but I've ordered their food via Uber Eats more than once now. You won't find fancy restaurant looking food here, what you will find is simple, great tasting food that will fill you up and brighten up your day.

The portions are always large, order notes are followed perfectly, the food arrives fresh and hot, ready to eat. I'd strongly recommend their fresh orange juice or milk bottles alongside your breakfast/dinner.

Places like this are pretty rare in London, definitely worth a visit if you're in the area or ordered online if you're not, you won't be...

I've been going to this cafe almost every day for about 7 to 8 weeks as I've been on a big job around the corner. I have nothing bad to say about the place. Service is quick and orders are bang on to how the customer likes. Only once has there been a mistake with my food, I got sweet chilli instead of chilli and mayo in my chicken wrap - BOO HOO!!
