I went up to the pub from where I was staying in Barking due to the good reviews on here for maybe a drink and some food. I looked through the window to see how busy it was and if there were all men patrons, as I don’t feel comfortable in a pub as a solo woman with all men at night. I walked away as I didn’t feel comfortable, and as I was doing so, a woman came out the door and threateningly asked me if I was ‘alright’ and ‘I saw you looking through the windows’ as if that’s a crime. Seemed like a staff member. Utterly horrible behaviour, especially as a woman to another woman. You should be ashamed of yourself. I’ll tell everyone I know in East London to NEVER go here as well as this post.

My son has Autism and one of the staff members said if the karaoke got too much for him that he was welcome to sit in the back bar where it was quieter as well. Very family friendly with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Will be definitely be coming back to try the food and the...
