This review is specifically for the long term maintenance of the graveyard and doesn’t include the boys who work there on a daily basis or the burial day itself. The burial was perfect and we had no issues. The graveyard has quite a lot of water logged ground during the winter and it makes it impossible to visit graves safely. We’ve been told numerous times that the hedging at the back will be cut down (as the owner has bought that land) and the graveyard will be extended, however no progress. It’s also not gated securely - another step that seems to be delayed. The drive way around the back is also in progress. The water drainage isn’t working and it’s all full of mud and hasn’t been cleaned for a very long time so it’s blocked. The boys are lovely and are super helpful and polite but I do think the owners of the graveyard need to do a little more to maintain the graveyard well. Money needs to be put back into the maintenance of the graveyard itself and not elsewhere. I didn’t review for quite a few months with the hope that there would be positive steps taken to sort this out but unfortunately there hasn’t been.

Very clean, peaceful and has easy carparking, there's a toilet and ablution area also a quiet room which can be used to pray. The chap who looks after the place Patrick is very good,he's also the person to see if you'd like a headstones made etc.

This is always a clean and peaceful cemetery. Very muddy in the wet winter periods. Always bring a bag to cover your shoes with. There is water facility and bins to dispose of bags. 24-hour access to the cemetery. The undertaker does his job manually without the aid of digging machine facilities. Gravesites are expected to last for at least a 60 year cycle. Watch out for the gyppo at the wrong entrance prior. The council should really put a camera on that road so that no rubbish is being dumped on the road to the cemetery. It can get a bit tight at times with all the fly tippers dumping rubbish on...

After many years of research I was finally able to locate where my Dad was placed to rest. Since then I have been visiting on a regular basis. This cemetery is very peaceful and beautiful.

Patrick the caretaker is very helpful and I appreciate all the work he does at keeping it well maintained. He also has a book full of names of the people who have been left there to rest in peace. Its unfortunate so many graves are neglected, so I hope this will help others find their...
