Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in London

I have lunch here most fridays, I am editing my review as the standard and quality changes each week... first time we had fish and chips, nicely presented, freshly cooked, a slice of lemon and all put on a nice serving paper on the plate... the last few weeks no lemon and no plate paper this Friday the 6th September, there seemed to be a staffing issue, no servettess, no trays and when out Scampi and chips arrived the chips were obviously not fresh and tasted recooked. Nice bright cafe with decent food.

The prices are good and good choice available.

The till staff though can be the hardest hurdle to pass. Often will make you feel like they are doing you a favour and will get ignored fire a while before served or will look busy with taking your order. Any requests will often get a shaking if the head.

This seem to apply to a number of staff at the till so I can only assume this must be a culture that is being accepted at this branch.

Went there today had to wait for a table, had to wait for about 10mins to order, placed order at 1.28 pm, was told after I had paid it is a 40 min wait, (had I known that would not have waIted), still waiting for meal at 2. 25, went to counter to ask how long and was told she is getting it ready now, still another 5min wait, when the food did come, it certainly wasn't cooked fresh, the only thing cooked fresh was the chips, certainly won't be going there again, most of the staff miserable, there was only one chap who was working on the floor that was...
