This is such a tranquil & relaxing walk through the nature reserve. There isn’t a car park at the reserve so we parked further out along Redstart Avenue away from people’s homes & had a short walk of 5 minutes to get to the gate. Then you cross a field with long grass & wild flowers. Saw lots of bees & butterlfies. Towards the bottom of the field is a path that leads down to the pond & stream. There are several beautiful houses overlooking the pond & weir making it a very idyllic scene. A few benches are dotted about so you can sit & enjoy the view. Whilst sat we saw lots of Canadian geese with goslings, a moorhen with a baby & many ducks with a brood of babies. Read moreFound this place some time ago, just by mistake really. It is really lovely. You can access it via Woodbridge Drive, Tovil (walking only) but prepare yourself to climb a very steep hill. Once reached, it's a 5 star dog walking place, fenced and gated. Occasionally maintained, lacks of dog waste bins though, so you will have to carry your dog's "treasures" until you get back. Apart from that - a peaceful, absolutely not crowded, place to relax with your pooch. It is not huge, large enough though to avoid other dog walkers, if you are not sure of your dog. Read moreNow here I love , the walk round is just so lovely and peaceful, plus when the suns out it’s a proper hot pocket area , because your also out of the wind so it’s very lovely . The plants are amazing to see and the fish in the ponds . I love it . Plus the pasty’s round the corner Hehehe Always love the garden walks round the harbour way , and then finding some peace in the churches .
