The King's Quoit dolmen on the cliff path above Manorbeir beach is a neolithic burial chamber, topped by a strikingly large capstone. It is likely that when the tomb was constructed 3000 years ago that I was designed to be seen from both the sea and land. It is thought to have been built by removing the earth around it rather than raising the huge capstone.
