Recently there have been some building works going on around the play area. We took our kids there a few times since it's all been done and they love it (they're 3 and 6 years old)! All the new play equipment is great and is far more enjoyable than any other park we're aware of in the local area.
My only criticism is that the zip line has finally been repaired but the seat looks like something has tried to eat it and it doesn't look very secure or safe. The bearings on the roundabout have also gone and so it's not usable.
I think with all the work that's been done there these bits could have also been addressed, but I understand that there is more work planned and these are likely to be sorted in subsequent phase.

Read moreKnowle park is a great park with some interesting features. The greater circular walk is almost exactly half a mile, and you will normally meet friendly dog walkers. There is a handy cut-throught from Knowle Village, across the green. Read moreThe park has a split personality. One aspect is the play area which has several items for younger children such as swings and slides. Adjacent to the play area are the tennis courts. These are accessed via the LTA booking app. The surface was well maintained but the courts are a basic facility, very much park courts. The rest of the park is an open area, ideal for a stroll. It is a good facility for dog walkers. The car park was adequate although many users did not seem to recognise the purpose of the white lines.
