The Old Bell Museum is packed with local history. There is exhibits about life in Montgomery around the 18th and 19th centuries, the local workhouse, the old Montgomery railway station and both the stone castle in town and the motte and bailey in Hendomen. Entry for adults is only £2, and only 50p for under 16s. This museum is a gem from start to finish, offering an engaging and interactive experience for visitors of all ages. The beautifully designed exhibits cover history, science, and art, with a perfect mix of traditional displays and modern technology.

Whether you're a tourist or a local, this museum offers education, entertainment, and inspiration — with a little bit of dress-up magic thrown in. A wonderful outing for...

My friends and I visited the old bell museum on our trip to Montgomery. We had an excellent time, it is well worth the admission cost! The men at the desk were very friendly and helpful, telling us about what was happening in the local area. We had lots of fun in the dressing up room (see pictures). And would definitely visit again, to learn about the history of the local area...
