Hey there, my karting companions! Can we just pause for a moment and gab about one of my absolute favorite topics—those spectacular tracks that fuel our need for speed? Lately, I can't keep my mind off Wight Karting. It's like they're running full throttle towards the Best Rental Track Award at the Fastline International Rental Karting Awards 2024, don't you think?

Let me tell you, Wight Karting's rental experience is more than just a ride; it's a pulse-pounding, heart-racing adventure that keeps you coming back for more. Their trusty fleet of Sodi karts will quickly win you over, whether you're a first-timer or a karting connoisseur. You'll find every race reshapes into an adrenaline-pumping chase, like a blockbuster just waiting to burst onto the silver screen.

Now, about their outdoor track—I like to think of it as an asphalt playground, with every twist and turn carefully crafted for excitement. This track is where you'll outsmart your opponents with perfectly timed overtakes and savor the thrill of neck-and-neck battles that leave you craving more. And let's not ignore the surface; it's so meticulously maintained that your karts waltz effortlessly across every bend and curve.

When it comes to safety, Wight Karting hasn't overlooked a thing. They've assembled an outstanding pit crew and top-of-the-line equipment that'll keep you feeling exhilarated without any fear. These folks are all about enjoying the ride and making sure everyone plays fair. So, buckle up and embrace the fantastic racing community that calls this glorious track home.

The real magic of Wight Karting, though? It's how they go above and beyond to make every visit truly remarkable, before you even start your engine. From tailoring their services to fit like your coziest pair of driving gloves to their friendly staff, who always greet you with a warm smile—they make every pit stop feel like a mini-vacation.

To sum it up, Wight Karting's got the perfect blend of all-out fun and adrenaline, making them a top contender for the Best Rental Track Award at the Fastline International Rental Karting Awards 2024. With their splendid rental experience, masterfully crafted track layout, laser-focused attention to safety, and unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction, they're definitely the shining light in our karting kingdom.

So my fellow karting enthusiasts, let's put on our helmets, feel the anticipation building, and cheer for Wight Karting as they zoom ahead! What are your favorite memories at Wight Karting? Got any fabulous track moments you want to share? Let us know in the comments below!

Stay fast and keep...

No Covid Care. Not sanitising keyboard you are required to check in on to sign waiver on arrival. Definatly not sterilizing helmets through the day, not even wiping them down or spraying them over, nothing nada nilch . Claim they put them in the "sterilising room" after every use but this is clearly impossible with the number turn over and most importantly I WATCHED THE NEXT GROUP PUT THE SAME HELMETS ON 10 MINS AFTER WE TOOK THEM OFF. Felt physically sick and felt i had let my family down. We complained and pointed it all out. Was also told by management they do sterilise them in the morning and the government has removed the restrictions anyway.WOW. No wonder the Isle of Wight has the highest growing number of cover-19 cases. (I GOOGLED THIS TODAY)The staff were dismissive of our concerns for public health and tried between themselves to cover each other, whispering and laughing. You couldn't make this up. Small run business with young carless couldn't care a less attitude trying its best but failing dismally. Serious concern for my families health right now. Had a good time racing but it was not worth catching Covid-19 for. I have reported this to the Health & safety Executive for investigation. Be wary if you value your life. Oh and...track staff honestly done good, they were alert and tuned into those on the track, couldn't fault them doing their job that day and making sure we were safe. So thanks...

As an avid karter from the mainland, I thought I'd pay this track a visit whilst on the island on Holiday. Booking was easy and they were more than helpful when I wanted to move to an earlier booking due to something cropping up in the afternoon.

Track was enjoyable, an unusual surface for outdoor as there wasn't as much grip as I expected however once I got used to it, it was fun and a nice challenge to make it interesting, the layout was fun to throw the kart round and I had a local to follow for a bit which definitely helped - I ended up third fastest of the month with a 35.9. Overtaking was definitely possible unlike some tracks, it's narrow but not too narrow and switchbacks are great fun. The karts were new Sodi RT8's, which drove lovely and were familiar to me having driven the Sodi RT10's at Three Sisters Circuit. However there was a definite disparity like most rental tracks, I was in Kart 12 for my first two sessions, then kart 1 for my final, and after my session in Kart 1 I ended up about as slow as my first session despite being used to the track at that point.

The biggest downfall of this place is the lack of insurance for gopros on track - I record my sessions to watch incidents back, improve, and catch funny moments, as so many karters do, so not being able to record my session here was a huge let down.

Overall I'd love to return next time I'm on the island, hopefully able to record...

Fantastic place to go with the family of all ages from 8 to 88. With a host of experienced instructors and karts to suit all ages to have lots of fun pretending you're a formula one driver racing around the track against other drivers. Whether you've been driving for 1 year or 30, nothing will prepare you for driving a kart as it's very different. Only an inch off the floor with rear wheel drive, makes you feel like your doing 60mph when your probably only going around 25 mph. The karts perform very differently from any car you've driven and the handling is like you're on rails.... But don't become complacent and hot the breaks too hard or you'll end up spinning 360. Slow in, fast out is the key to shaving off seconds on your laps and the staff there make it look easy, but you'll soon learn it's far from that if you want an impressive lap time. At the end you'll be buzzing from the adrenaline and tired from the energy you'll need to handle the karts. There's a nice food and drink facility there set in a themed area with TV screens that will announce the next racers so you won't miss your turn. With a decked view platform on the outside that over looks the track, you'll be able to watch other races or the members of your family or friends race and the track and chuckle when they spin out on a corner. Great fun for everyone and a bargain in you go on a Sunday!

Having a husband and son who are weekly karters, we new before arriving on the Isle of Wight that they wanted to go Wight Karting, I'm pleased to say it didn't disappoint. Nice track with twists and turns to test out their skills, with the added bonus of a good view point for those watching to check out the race positions! Unlike some go karting experiences, you don't need to arrive 15mins before booking time for the safety video and feel the website could do with making that clear, time of briefing and time of race. As that was not clear at the time of booking. Like all karting experiences, it's not the cheapest of events to do as a family and feel it would be nice touch to add some medals or certificates at the ending, for us holiday makers to keep a memento. For those living on the island, you can become a member and offers available (I didn't explore this more as we was only visiting) However, most importantly, good track and good karts, with the staff taking care on the aspects of safety. Highly recommend

Wight Karting is an excellent destination for any karting enthusiast, and my 14-year-old son absolutely loved his experience here! Being a new venue for him, it exceeded our expectations. The staff was welcoming and placed a strong emphasis on health and safety, which is a huge plus for any parent. The karts and track were in fantastic condition, showing that they are well-maintained and cared for. The viewing area is a real highlight, featuring a comfortable bar and ample space for spectators to enjoy the action. The Oreo milkshakes were a massive hit with the kids, while the free coffee refills kept the parents satisfied and energized. Overall, Wight Karting provided a fun and enjoyable outing, and we’re already looking forward to returning during our next visit to the Isle of Wight!
