Can not fault the runners and the scan and go staff but the security guards have a lot to answer for. Rude, arrogant and unhelpful. I have to use a mobility scooter has I am disabled but in yr isle of wight branch in Ryde with covid 19 in place and social distancing I am unable to walk from the bottom of the store to the disabled parking at the top of the car park. I parked the mobility scooter at the customer service desk I left my shopping near the mobility scooter has there wasn't any members of staff to help me take my bags to my car. I then asked customer service if it was OK to leave there whilst I got my husband to help. I then proceeded to go out of the top door which yr staff have let me done previously because my car is parked at the entrance. Your security guard said you need to go to the bottom of the store which I then said no I am not walking all the way down there i am disabled and I can't walk far. He then proceeded to say you can't do that. He did eventually let me out but he was very rude when...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was waiting in line to be serviced at the cigarette counter a Tesco staff member walked up just in front of me and was being served on the side I was waiting so I presumed I was waiting the right side of barrier then another member of the public walked passed and got served before me I said Iām waiting to be served the woman on the counter just looked and said nothing so I just let her carry on serving the rude customer so when I finely got to the till I as why she didnāt serve me first she rudely said couldnāt see you standing there on the wrong side of the barrier in front off me !!! I said thank you very much and left. So Iād just like to thank Tesco for the very poor customer service from your counter staff. Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst off, staff at tills are great. 2nd: Staff in around the store are very good. But then...Managers for the most part of very rude or often monosyllabic at best. Stock levels on food side can be hit and miss and I feel sorry for those stocking up as they often have to go to checkouts and serve, leaving the stock levels to dwindle fast and this must cost a lot in missed sale opportunities as I have often had to go elsewhere because they were out of stock of my ideal item or it's equivalent. I do find it amusing that when there is a call to checkouts the managers seem to go in the opposite direction or often seen going out the back not to be seen again. If only these managers put the customer first and lead by example then perhaps the store may be more profitable and feel a lot more customer friendly as regards to stock issues and feel...
