The Olive Tree Restaurant — Restaurant in England

This is my second visit inside a month to The Olive Tree restaurant at Busy Bee, if I was writing this review after just the first visit it would have been 5 ⭐️ across the board, sadly though, it’s only 3 ⭐️ this time.

I’ve recommended the 🍔 here to others before, the one I had a month ago was delicious, juicy, just perfect, in fact one of the best 🍔 I’ve ever had, it would have beaten most restaurants, it really was that good.

However, 3 days ago I went again, and, because of my first visit, I thought I’d try the 🍔 again, the chips were fabulous, the salad good, the 🥓 perfect, the fried 🍳 was sadly hard though, but I could look past that, but the worst thing, the burger was to put it bluntly, cremated, but not just mine, my wife’s & my mums too, all three were very overcooked, thinking back, should I have said something? Maybe, I’m not sure why I didn’t actually 🤔

Sadly, I can’t recommend the burger here now.

I can though not say enough good things about the staff, both counter & those delivering the food & cleaning the tables, they are all so very helpful, so friendly, and nothing is enough trouble, they do a fantastic job & definitely need a pat...

A lovely restaurant with plenty of seating that is inside the Busy Bees Garden Centre & that has ample free parking. They sell a good variety of hot & cold food & drink plus a good range of cakes, plus for those interested on Monday's & Wednesday's they do an OAP daily special that includes a main meal & dessert plus a tea or coffee for £8.95. Sadly when I visited on Monday they only had a limited range of cakes available as I was expecting great things after reading the Google reviews about enormous cakes, I chose the carrot cake & a black coffee, the cake was small & very dry plus the coffee was extremely weak, service was very slow too, maybe next time will be better?
