I go to evening climbing with Mike and Jo in the winter on the Petroc campus and they are fantastic. They do fun warm ups - either games that turn grown adults into laughing children or warmups based on improving climbing technique and form. We then partner up with other in the group and climb the walls for the evening. It’s such a relaxed and fun atmosphere and great for pure beginners or experienced climbers. Lately we’ve been doing outdoor climbing sessions at various different stunning places on the North Devon coast and it’s been fantastic - a truly unique way of experiencing the panoramas of the coast, while getting in a great workout with a sound group of humans. Mike is a great instructor and can take you from complete beginner to confidently tying knots, abseiling off huge cliffs and belaying partners - as he did with me! Safety is a priority and you’re taught how to make sure that you and your buddies are safe to climb, while being relaxed and fun at the same time. If you’re a local, this is a great way to see places you may have already visited, but from a completely different angle (scaling a cliff face!) and if you’re a visitor to the area this is a fantastic way to get some memorable outdoor adventuring into your holiday! I’m signing my son up for September classes and look forward to coasteering in a few weeks as my kids love these courses and highly recommend them. Thanks Mike and Jo! These experiences are the highlight of my week!

We had a fabulous family sunset climbs at Baggy Point on end of August! Mike had made our very first Sea Cliff climbing experience extraordinary. It was totally more than just a climbing activity. My boys, 14 and 9 years old, both enjoyed the time with Mike a lot, who knows everything about the rocks, the tide, the sea, the climbs and most important of all, he knows how to make climbing a fun adventure, climb till dark with home bake chocolate brownies as treat!!! Mike also capable to cater something for each of our level. We have an experienced climbing mum, an energetic teenage boulderer, a young kid on the wall and a novice climbing dad, i couldn't believe Mike all got different tasks and challenges to each of us to forcus on. We were all feeling empowered and confident by the end of the day. Mike is enthusiastic, professional and kind to both small and big kids!

Mike and Jo organized a fabulous Bear Grylls survival style birthday party for our daughter and her friends. Everything was done to perfection, from map and clues searching, walk through Wistlanpound, blindfold walk for the kids, den building, archery, fire pit with marshmallow roasting and other activities. The location was amazing and we loved the base around the fire that was ready for the kids once we arrived. Some super special memories were created and we will for sure be back for more fun with The Kids Adventure Company. Jo and Mike were wonderful with the children from start to finish. Highly recommended!

We did two activities as part of our summer holiday trip to Devon and I could not recommend The Kids Adventure Company highly enough.

We're a family of 4 - two adults, a 10 year old and an 8 year old. We did a climbing trip with Mike and Noah in the Valley of the Rocks which was stunning. It was just the right level of challenge for the whole family, and the instructors made it feel both safe and fun. The whole family loved it.

We then did Coasteering with Freddie at Baggy Point. It was blustery and choppy with some big waves, but again the instructor was awesome and incredibly patient with the 8 yo who didn't always want to jump in. Massive amount of fun and highlight of the holiday!

Brilliant company, brilliant instructors; Can't wait to...
