Visited around 11:00am on a Thursday. The car park had plenty of space. It was a cold but sunny day however the ground was quite muddy around all the play areas which is likely the case at many other similar parks. It's well equipped with many play features for young children from a large sand pit to a zip wire. It has several slides and to my mind plenty of seating spots to sit for those of us with less energy. A bowling green and wider walking area exists beyond the play area. Read moreFantastic park for all ages. There is a great slide that the kids love because it's pretty high by usual slide standards. There's a large climbing frame play area for older children and a smaller one for toddlers. There's even a large sand pit with buckets and spades so on a nice day you can take a picnic, sit at a bench and pretend you're on holiday. Bring a ball as there's a large field area and if you have a golf club you can even have a game of crazy golf. On site there is a cafe offering a selection of things but picnics are always a great idea. Toilets are available in a separate building too so you won't be...
Read moreWe've been here twice now, our little boy enjoys it here. Well kept, tidy, toilets and cafe. 4 stars only as we couldn't let our boy on some of the play frames, older kids (looked to be 13-15 year olds) had decided to sit up on the frames blocking anybody else from going on, we tried to use them but they had absolutely no intentions of moving for us or anybody else, not even their legs out the way to allow anybody past. It's a shame kids have to be like that these days and it's not even worth the hassle trying to reason with them either, all they give back is attitude. Hopefully next time we visit they...
