Visited around 11:00am on a Thursday. The car park had plenty of space. It was a cold but sunny day however the ground was quite muddy around all the play areas which is likely the case at many other similar parks. It's well equipped with many play features for young children from a large sand pit to a zip wire. It has several slides and to my mind plenty of seating spots to sit for those of us with less energy. A bowling green and wider walking area exists beyond the play area. A café was open serving food outside and inside. Separate toilet facilities are available though my wife said the running water was cold. We spent two hours here with two under 5's who really enjoyed their time here. By 1pm the car park was full.

Cliff park has been improved a lot. The two big climbing frames cover all ages between them, the sandpit is enclosed with a couple of picnic benches inside so great for watching kids and sitting with a cup of tea. They've added a smaller slide to the hill which makes more of it. There's also an accessible swing and the whole place is wheelchair friendly. There's also a mini golf which I assume you can hire clubs for. There are public toilets, and a tea room, with a take away kiosk with reasonably priced sandwich, bacon rolls, burgers, ice creams etc.

Never knew about this place till yesterday. I've been missing out. Lots of open space and a decent amount of relatively new equipment. A decent sized sand pit is also there to keep the kids amused and cause you pain when you try cleaning it off them. Car park ain't very big though but at least it's free, or at least I think it is - I didn't pay anyway. The best part for me though is the cafe to the side - drinks, burgers, cakes, sandwiches. Definitely bringing the kid back here again.

Fantastic park for all ages. There is a great slide that the kids love because it's pretty high by usual slide standards. There's a large climbing frame play area for older children and a smaller one for toddlers. There's even a large sand pit with buckets and spades so on a nice day you can take a picnic, sit at a bench and pretend you're on holiday. Bring a ball as there's a large field area and if you have a golf club you can even have a game of crazy golf. On site there is a cafe offering a selection of things but picnics are always a great idea. Toilets are available in a separate building too so you won't be...

We've been here twice now, our little boy enjoys it here. Well kept, tidy, toilets and cafe. 4 stars only as we couldn't let our boy on some of the play frames, older kids (looked to be 13-15 year olds) had decided to sit up on the frames blocking anybody else from going on, we tried to use them but they had absolutely no intentions of moving for us or anybody else, not even their legs out the way to allow anybody past. It's a shame kids have to be like that these days and it's not even worth the hassle trying to reason with them either, all they give back is attitude. Hopefully next time we visit they...
