Brilliant nature reserve for family with teenage kids. Suggested donation of £5 per adult, £2 for loan of binoculars (credit cards accepted), we spent 90mins exploring the 2.6miles of board walk (there and back)(all boarded except the first 400m on a shared track), and 4 large bird hides (chairs facing openable slit windows and illustrated bird guides in each hide, one hide on slits - all accessed via inclined walkways - no steps). Toilets only in visitors centre, nice place to have a packed lunch after with hot drinks purchased from the centre. Large car park. 2 wheelchairs available for use is needed. Enthusiastic volunteers and free illustrated A4 sheet of birds in the area to help bird spotting novices. Great plans to make the area absolutely huge (raising funds), but already has a variety of habitats and hides to the...

I love coming here, it's so peaceful.

The reserve is so well maintained. Lots of hides and places to sit. There's so much for the kids to interact with, stamp trails and QR codes for them to find all about the Nature at the reserve.

The wetland hide where the beaver's are is a must see, it's raptor hevan for anyone who loves birds of prey.

All the signs tell you how far away you are from the next hide or exit and how long it'll roughly take to walk there.

The only draw back is that the only toilets are at the entrance visitor centre. Which from the furthest hide is a power 20 minute walk away. Slower walkers it may be 40 minute walk away.

The reserve is wheelchair/scooter accessible but the walkways...

Our favourite place to visit in north Norfolk. Fantastic reserve with lots of places to sit and enjoy our feathered friends. So many bird feeders all of them well filled and a constant stream of visitors. The paths and hides are all very accessible to everyone and the hides have windows that are a great height for wheelchair users. I wish we lived much closer so we could visit more often. Nice gift shop with a tea and coffee machine. Toilets available in the reception area, none available on the reserve. Very knowledgeable people here who are happy to share their...

Absolutely love this place ! Free parking easy to find. Entry is a recommended donation of £7 each which is very fair and I know it goes towards the recent improvements and extra areas they are creating as well as feeding and looking after a number of birds and other wildlife that visit! Great place to practice wildlife photography as they have plenty of hides to sit in to. A pleasent walk and lovely to get away from the Hussle and bussle of day to day stuff. Highly recommend a visit. Do use the toilet at the beginning as it's the only one! Also take a bottle of water with you!!

Stunning reserve where they have done a lot over the last few years. This was my first visit since covid and there was so much more to see and visit. The beaver hide had lots of interesting birds on the water, sadly no sight of the beavers, but we did enjoy an owl sitting in a shed from another hide and a lovely family of voles from the woodland hide. Brilliant charity to support, will always enjoy my visits to Sculthorpe Moor.

What a lovely peaceful area. Visited with 2 children aged 10 and 13 years old. They loved looking for the activity trail. Price is very acceptable, especially when visiting with children. Toilets on hand and areas to sit and enjoy your surroundings on route around the reserve. Met by a lovely lady on reception and lots of helpers/volunteers on site for questions if you have any.
