Excellent venue. The course is beautifully designed, I was very impressed with the scenery and all the water features. There are some VERY creative and unique ideas for some of the holes too, its VERY challenging too, not for novices at all.

The sheer effort to add to the atmosphere of the dinosaur/jurassic theme and thus the "authenticity" of it is very commendable.

The cafe looked great, very nice vibes and was nice and warm in the slightly cold and damp weather especially. The food looked great but didn't get to try, I would love to visit again when it's actually quiet and have a more leisure experience to take my time on the course and try the food at the cafe and chill there too. The food looked lovely and inviting.

One of my only criticisms are the course lacks "shortcuts" so if you lose your ball, as I hilariously and foolishly did (it went for a huge swim/dip), then you either have to trek forwards through most of the course or return all the way back from where you came, taking the long way back and thus awkwardly disturbing and getting in the way of other people's games.

The only other criticism is that some of the holes are too difficult for novices and thus also for much younger/older and less abled/skilled players. It offers a decent challenge but its far too easy to lose your ball to the water and thus we go back to my first criticism with the whole retreat back to the reception to get a new one, thus taking the "scenic" route back.

Aside from those, I really liked and enjoyed this golf venue. Its a fun, great experience and I'll always be grateful snd happy for more mini golf experiences in Nottingham.

Just to add too, the staff at the jurassic cove are excellent too, very nice, friendly, professional and between them and the large, unmissable rules board outside, they really care about making sure you have a safe, professional and enjoyable experience.

Fun place to visit, not too expensive, and mostly wheelchair accessible. Would recommend for a fun experience with friends or family.

Pros: Each course is pretty wheelchair accessible. Pricing is relatively good. accessible toilets & parking. fun dinosaur theming.

Slight cons: when we arrived over an hour before closing, staff member had to confirm with another if we were even allowed in despite it being pretty empty. when playing, staff started deep cleaning the hole in front of us, so we then had to wait for it to be done before we could use it - whilst not the worst thing, was a little frustrating when we were aware of closing time & also other groups behind us, could've been done after closing or when empty. disabled toilet doors very very heavy. slight step into main entrance & also into golf area, and also some very steep areas for the golf paths for wheelchair users. there are multiple areas which the ball can fall into water & you have to get another ball from staff, whilst the course is mostly wheelchair accessible; to get back to the staff would mean going all the way back to hole one to do so. Would be good if those areas had netting or preventatives instead.
