Brocks Hill Country Park is a wonderful green space that encompasses a variety of natural habitats including ponds, woodland, meadows and farmland. The paths around the park are very good and accessible for all.

The park has a cafe that is open daily from 10am - 4pm. There are also toilets in the building where the cafe is located.

There are 2 play areas for children, one is by the cafe and is suited for younger children it is fenced off and has a gated access. The other play area is open and has swings, various slides, monkey bars, see saws etc. There is also a Den building area in the wooded area that encourages natural play.

Brocks Hill Country Park is very well managed by the borough council. Parking is free here - but it can get busy in Summer...

Not a great experience. Im currently sitting outside. I noticed there was an outside serving hatch so chose to use this as I wishes to sit outside. I stood for a few minutes whilst being ignored. Staff knew I was there but gave no eye contact or acknowledgement. I was eventually served but whenever I asked a question nobody seemed to know the answer eg what are the toppings on the pumpkin spice latte and should I find a seat or wait here? I was told to sit down so I emptied my bag of items onto a table ready for me to start work only to hear someone shout 'pumpkin latte'! So I then packed my bag to collect my drink. Why didnt someone just tell me it was 'get it yourself and push off service?'. Unwelcoming place,...

Such a shame this great Park is so neglected No one can be bothered to empty the bins or pick up the copious amounts of rubbish. Dog walkers can't be bothered to pick up their mess. Overgrown dying bushes that no one cares about. An great memorial place to sit and remember ( surrounded by 6 foot thistles). A great sized pond that is filled with stagnant water supporting little if any life. Play areas are lacking numerous pieces of a equipment that I assume have been removed once worn rather than replaced. And of all things. You would think at the very least, the grass would be cut in the main play area and nettles chopped down. THIS AREA IS FOR CHILDREN to play in. Pull your finger out...

Absolutely loved spending the afternoon here today. Children enjoyed every moment being here. From the walk, to the age appropriate play grounds to the den making area!! (I have some very creative children, they didn't want to leave!! 😆😆) The park was very clean which made our experience so much nicer. It was awesome to be out amongst nature and hear the birds through the trees. The coffee shop is usually open, but the times vary. All in all the park is perfect for every age, from the young ones to the older ones and everything in-between!! 😜😜🤣

If you have children and live within reach of South Leicester, Brock's hill Country Park is a fantastic place to visit. Brilliant information boards, a den building site with loads of building materials. I love the tree you can walk through. A great place for dog walking with an easy link to fields beyond the boundary of the park for those wanting to walk further afield. My children spent hours of their childhood in this park. I can't recommend it enough.
