Been a loyal regular here for well over 10 years (since it first ever opened). Food and service always been very good, however had a takeaway last night. Phoned up to order and collect and told 40 mins (thats fine) we always leave much earlier in case its ready earlier and got there after 25 mins of ordering and food was ready, got home with food (less that 4 mins drive away) and it was not even warm so called to complain and asked for a replacement and then thats where the problem lies. The management person I spoke to just rudely kept interupting me and arguing with me when I was trying to explain and using excuses such as the food is kept at 82oF and its our fault for not having a hot bag (Im not uber eats or deliveroo driver!!) and due to the temperature drop from collecting!! I live less than 4 mins away and have never had cold food on collection in the 10+ years I have been ordering. The manager then had the audacity to tell me I was being rude!!!!!!!!! They need a lesson in conflict management and how to deal effectively with complaints and take on board feedback from customers rather than argue with me and tell me its my fault the food was cold.. Oh and they sent a replacement out and tried to charge £4 for delivery and asked for all the food back..
Based on this experience on how the complaint was handled I will never return again.

Read moreNever visited a restaurant like this where staff is not welcoming at all. Anything me and my friend asked they made faces. I work in hospitality from last 16 years and never been treated like this ever. Yes we know it’s not an Indian restaurant but I am sure Indian people are allowed to have a meal when we have spend 90 pound between 2 people. No one came to check if the food is good or not or we need anything. I can with me English friend who noticed this all and he said is this how these staff behave. We were told 10.30 is the last order but 10 pm staff is pestering us to say you want naan or not basically telling us go home. As an Indian guest I felt very annoyed and unsatisfied that firstly it’s not Indian restaurant but you have still used India name but then you treat your guest like this. Food was nice and when I said to waiter that my curry is full of oil he looked at me and said oh ok I will tell chef. Would love to speak to the owner of this place as I think he needs to know all this. I have been English guest eating poppadom in the lounge, but when I asked, I got a blunt reply said no. This whole experience made me very...
Read moreI went for a meal here with a bunch of friends last year and had a reasonably enjoyable time
Ryan ordered a curry with egg and a naan which had a gooey middle, which he absolutely adored
Thomas ordered a buttermilk chicken which he said was really strong tasting but with good pacing, he managed to make his way through it
Jacob is a local gentleman and he recommended the place so naturally he was delighted to have his friends visit and go to one of his favourite restaurants. He was slightly perturbed because they had no pasties on the menu. However, this may have just been "lad banter" between him and the waiter
Daniel is a graphic designer and enjoyed a lovely little back and forth with the waiter regarding the layout of the menu. He then went onto order the hottest curry on the menu and 3 pints of Monster
Philip was pleased with the poppadoms, the starters and the main but it all fell apart for him on the desserts. He requested biscuits and pringles but they were not on the menu.
All in all it was an enjoyable experience and I would very much like to go again when groups of 6 good friends are...
