The worst Turkish restaurant i ever been to the owner is a miserable person and not polite and he refused to sit me my family away from the front door even though I asked to be moved as I had two little grandchildren with me and the door wasn’t kept shut so we were in the midst of a cold wave coming in all the time the door kept opening and saying the empty tables were booked further in the restaurant We finished our meal and the tables were still empty and no one turned up. It was Eid and the manager just wanted us out, as soon as we walked in, he told us the table was booked in one hours time. I thought wow great service...not! Then he shoved the menus in our faces and told us to order. The waitress didn't know what she was doing, maybe she was pressured by the manager to just get us done. We went on a Saturday afternoon as a four, and we were the only customers. It is evident that they use the quiet time to prep for the evening. The main criticism is that we entered, waited for a few minutes, seated ourselves and it was around 15 minutes in total until we were attended to. Not a big problem, as we appreciated the time to talk. Thereafter everything was fine. The food is lovely. Good quality, nicely presented and tasty. Not overly expensive either. The meats, including the kofte, were quality and absolutely no grease. Be aware - they do not serve alcohol or take cards; there is a cash machine a couple of doors away....
