Lydstep Beach — Attraction in Penally

Not a public beach by the looks of it, it's a caravan park with a security barrier. There is a car park up a nearby hill for the headland walks and a dog walker did say you could get down, but it's very steep so we turned back with our elderly dog. Not sure if you could park up top and walk back down through the holiday park, but we didn't want another disappointment so didn't try. Maybe someone else...

This is not Lydstep beach, this is further up and called Lydstep caverns beach. The best sands in Pembrokeshire! So beautiful and incredibly looking caverns and caves. Not sure they want people to visit. In the absence of any signage we parked up in Lydstep village and went looking for the beach. You could get to the coastal path but to get down to the open beach pictured you had to go down a steep road which ended in a coded barrier for a Haven holiday park.
