Sweet park!!! Loads for all levels of Skater. Transitions, flat banks, pump track, grind rails, bowl with roll-in and ledges. Concrete and steel, a few cracks in the concrete but not noticeable when Skating. Free parking 50m from the skatepark and seating around the park, if you can stop yourself from giving it a try. Good for all wheeled sports, saw a BMX'er rip the place up. I was advised to go early on a school day...which is great advice. I've visited twice, first time on a sunny school holiday at 4pm, it was rammed, this visit 10am midweek, saw 10 skaters, a dude on a BMX and a 2yr old on a scooter. The only downside was the place could do with a brush, there was glass in the bowl, and giant matches on the pump track, which made for awkward ride. But overall, it's a great skatepark. A must ride in Plymouth

Central Park 🌿🌸🌼 Spring is in full bloom at Central Park Plymouth! Just steps from the Plymouth Life Centre, you’ll find everything you need for the perfect day out. Wander through wildflower meadows, enjoy thrilling amusement park fairs, exciting kids play space & picnic spots. The playgrounds are well-maintained and cater to different age groups, providing swings, slides, zip wire, trampolines, hammocks and more. Enjoy a family picnic in open green spaces surrounded by nature or Ice-cream / coffee from the on-site Meadows café. For sports lovers, there’s no shortage of action—tennis courts, a bowling green, and even a skate park. You see many kids skating in the evening. There’s plenty of free parking available too. 🎡 Don't miss the amusement fair fun this month.

Public health risk. We took our children to Central Park for the afternoon, initially I was shocked at the amount of rubbish on the path from the car park up to the cafe, however this was nothing compared to what I found at the cafe. As we sat at one of the benches, we noticed that to our left 3 teenagers sat and drank a full crate of cider, I then noticed that one of the benches around our table had a discarded half eaten pasty plus a lot of rubbish on the floor. I walked round to the hatch to get a coffee, and was even more shocked, in front of the public toilets, the drain had blocked, and a steady stream of poo, used toilet roll and wee flowed out creating a brown pool on the tarmac in front of the cafe. All the while children walked past with footballs running through the pool, bicycles cycled through it and the cafe continued to serve food and drinks with a few meters. The cafe staff didn’t seem to mind and said they had contacted PCC but not attendance as of yet. We then returned to the car approx 3 hours later and it was still in the same situation. I am disgusted by its condition of the park in general but more so the area around the cafe. PCC has created an utter dive and should be ashamed.

Took my children to Central Park as its been years since I've visited and dont think my step children have even been it wasn't as enjoyable as it use to be and my biggest concern was what I seen on a few of the play sets they had these metal chains what people tied into knots that could quite easily be used to hurt a child (or adult for that matter) it was very alarming and I was just lost for words plymouth city council allowed such a dangerous item to be used and Incorporated into a child's play set

It's a place worth coming back to with your friends, family or pet. Has a range of available places to go to as it's a fairly large park, owning a fun kids park, golf place, life centre and other things. There are a lot of dog owners that come, but it is possible avoiding them by not walking on the main paths of the park. In spring when everything blooms, variety of gorgeous flowers grow and enchant the park. I'd recommend getting to know the park and it's interesting pathways.

So much to do and explore at Central Park, I often feel it’s very much underrated. Yes there is a minority that spoil it (don’t understand why owners can pick up after dogs! Particularly as some nice individuals leave accessible bags around the park). I mainly use for dog walking, occasionally use the play park with the kids but for me, on a quite misty morning there’s little better to improve my wellbeing! Just wish the council would be more on top of emptying the bins!
