Lovely area to walk around the pond, my children ride their bikes and look for squirrels. See a few swans, ducks etc on the pond. It’s had lots of work done over the years to let the birds live in their own habitat. Great little park close by for all ages and plenty of space to park. Pub across the road if you want to get lunch they serve excellent food at cheap prices. Also a library over the road and local shops were you can get monkey nuts and food for the ducks. Read moreThe pond is well looked after and there is a local newsagent which sells appropriate food for the ducks, swans, waders and the odd pigeon or two. The paths are well maintained. There is a children's play park which is regularly maintained and updated which is suitable for all ages. It is also adjacent to a playing field.

My 8 year old grandson mistook an area of the pond on the corner as hard ground where Tangier Road is coming put from the playground and fell into the pond.
