Earlswood Common is a lovely place that provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nestled in a serene location, this beautiful common offers a tranquil oasis where nature thrives and visitors can rejuvenate their spirits. I recently had the pleasure of exploring this remarkable place and was captivated by its charm, making it deserving of a solid 4-star rating.
One of the most striking aspects of Earlswood Common is its breathtaking natural beauty. The common is a lush green haven, adorned with sprawling meadows, towering trees, and a variety of vibrant flora. The picturesque landscape is truly a feast for the eyes and provides a perfect backdrop for leisurely strolls or peaceful picnics. The well-maintained trails and pathways make it easy to navigate the common and discover its many hidden treasures.
One of the highlights of my visit was the diverse wildlife that calls Earlswood Common home. As I wandered through the paths, I encountered a plethora of bird species, from chirping songbirds to graceful waterfowl. Watching them in their natural habitat was a true delight and a testament to the common's commitment to preserving its biodiversity.
The amenities provided at Earlswood Common are also worth mentioning. The common features well-placed benches and seating areas, allowing visitors to pause and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. Additionally, the presence of clean and well-maintained restroom facilities was a pleasant surprise. It's evident that the management takes pride in creating a comfortable environment for guests.

There are plenty of activities to engage in, such as walking, jogging, or simply unwinding in nature's embrace. For those seeking a bit more adventure, the common also offers opportunities for cycling and horseback riding, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds.
While Earlswood Common is undoubtedly a wonderful place, there is still room for improvement. One area that could benefit from attention is the provision of additional signage and information boards. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWonderful walking area. It once used to be a gold course as well as a walking area but about a year ago they abolished the golf course and upgraded the cafe van to a almost proper cafe. However I do think that the Cafe and the council are missing a big opportunity here. Earlswood common (especially during the Covid Lockdown) as massively grown people coming to walk and eat. now that is not a problem for the regulars because there is simply so much space but the car park is getting really busy and the car parking spaces are filling up. I can see with my own eyes that the cafe must be making a absolute killing so I don't know why they don't just start making more parking space and eating space. All in all though, it is still a very fantastic...

But there is not much to the area; the cafe has the potential to make the place worth coming back to even for just 30/60 minutes, time and again. I'd have even been prepared to make the 1 hr round trip drive for that and the scenery. But the sausage baguette had one sausage cut in half £4. I can't enjoy that , I just feel tired off. It wasn't even a particularly nice quality herb sausage, just some cheap reclaimed meat affair. So for the sake of an extra sausage, I am left with no reason of my own to go back. I suppose it's alright if you are starving hungry and desperate. I'd be happy to go back with friends though. Might just have a tea or...
