Went to the carol service last night. We were made so welcome. The service was carried out in Welsh and English allowing people to participate how they wished. The children from the local school sang and one of the dad's played the trumpet. It was beautiful. We stayed for sherry and mince pies and chatted to the locals afterwards. Those which opted for dry material like the bundles of straw or succulent planting like the protea flowers which last much longer than more delicate flowers and broad green leaves. Hydration is key! Looking forward to next years...
