We arrive on a Sunday for the 3-5pm session with our children. We were charged £85 entrance fee and where absolutely shocked when we walked into the roller skating area and almost half of it was blocked off with chairs stacked high for an event that was happening after the session. The children fell into these chairs several times when they were stumbling skating. Also, at the other end of the hall maintaince work was being carried out on the front of the stage causing a further hazard. My 6 year old son stumbled near this work area that wasnt blocked off securely so I went to grab him so he didnt fall and hit himself on the steps that where being attached to the front of the stage, all that was said by the workmen was "watch you dont fall in the bin love." No apologises for the hazard that was there. To make matters even worse on the limited space that was available to skate on they began bringing tables in and setting them up. We paid for a 3 til 5 session and at 445 people were being directed to leave the skating ring, absolutely awful will definitely not be...
Read moreThere aren't many roller rinks around now post-CoVid which is a shame because my daughter loves them. And this roller rink ticks all the boxes for her. She went for a birthday party. So firstly, the check in was quick and seamless with minimal fuss and the guy on the front desk is lovely and friendly... Full of smiles.... And a great personality. Service is excellent considering it was pretty busy on the day. And the roller rink comes with the disco (and pink lighting) which means it isn't as bland as most places.
The staff couldn't do enough to help when it came to the birthday party itself and were very flexible and supportive and the room looked quite nice with plenty of lighting and overlooking the rink.
I would definitely consider hosting my daughter's future birthday parties here. Just one gripe - you're just a little too far away from me otherwise my daughter would be there every week. So if you could lift the rink up and move yourself closer to me, it would...
