The park lies in some of the most beautiful countryside in South Essex a 200 acre beautiful wildlife park made up of woodland, lake and open grassland with connecting paths and bridleways it also provides habitat for a huge range of animals and plants. There is an ongoing program of tree planting, with 28,000 already planted. To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, an avenue of 200 oak trees was planted in the park. Read moreLovely place for a stroll , just make sure you know how to get back to the car park 😆 We took the dogs for a walk, they loved jumping in and out of the water to cool down and the woods provided most needed shade on a hot day . There as so many paths to follow you could be a regular visitor and still find new places - but that also means it’s easy to get disoriented. Very little signage and no poo bins Free parking ( no facilities but there is a costa near by) ....
