As with all of the KFC franchises, there seems to be a policy of paying more and getting less. As someone who used to be a frequent visitor, there has been a definite change to smaller chicken portions and smaller portions of fries. With the new automated ordering system, it's almost impossible to specify which piece of chicken you prefer. My elderly father does not eat breast meat, so he refuses to go now. I recently ordered a ten piece family feast only to find it contained 4 drumsticks, 4 wings, 1 thigh, and 1 breast! Who gets all the premium pieces? This was not a feast! Their hot wings are tiny, maybe from a 'sparrow' sized bird. Their shift to this new policy is an insult to their loyal customers as the wings are, in general, a by-product. It is obvious that KFC purchase their chicken by weight and to increase their profit margins their customers are getting less. This is pure greed as they are owned by one of the largest food and drink companies in the world PepsiCo. Independent fried chicken shops, of which there are thousands, are more generous in their portion sizes. How can this be? KFC used to be our favourite fast food restaurant, definitely no longer. Like many who agree with us, we are 'voting'...
Read moreWe have always used this restaurant in the past but recently have noticed that the service we have received leaves somewhat to be desired. Last Tuesday we purchased the 10 mini fillets deal with sides. We were served by a gentleman named barry. When he called out our order I walked up to the counter to get it. He subsequently turned his back and ignored me after I said thank you. Slightly rude I thought. Then again Tuesday we purchased the same deal and was served by Barry again. Just like before I went to the counter and got the bag of food. Once again I said thank you and Barry said nothing back with his back turned. I went to the car and checked if everything was in the bag and to my surprise there were 2 portions of chips missing. I went back inside and told Barry and there was no apology. He just shouted out "2 chips" and left them on the counter and walked away. No ounce of customer service whatsoever. The chicken was dry as a bone. Almost inedible. The only thing tolerable were the hot wings we had purchased. I am sorry to say but we will be taking our custom elsewhere. As for Barry I would like to suggest he goes on a customer service course and learns...
Read moreI need to update... I have been using this branch of kfc for the last 2 years ordering through just eat. And In all honesty the food has been good and they have allways honoured ask requests. But on the last two occasions its been very poor. I allways order the same family6 piece wicked meal. And I have allways requested thighs in the bucket which they have allways provided. Which has been brilliant because the kids enjoy the thighs far more than breast meat. But on the last two occasions the buckets have had breast meat only and unfortunately they have been very dry and cold. And the kids have been unable to eat the chicken as its so chewy. I feel that the chicken has been sat around for along time. There was nothing fresh about this chicken. And the fact that on the last two occasions we have not got what we requested shows me that they can't be bothered to read the request we submit through are just eat order. Or that there is a member of staff who dosnt really enjoy there job and who feels that they woukd not provide what we woukd like.
So we won't be going back and I will do further reviews through other channels to let people be aware of this...
