Junglebugs Indoor Play Centre and Party Zone — Attraction in Sandwell

well staff have no problem to not having smoke alarms to sound when theres a fire. If there was no problem was the fire department called???. And why are they now going to report this centre???

Staff not fire trainned didn't have a clue when there was a greece fire, 10 year old in staff area in kithen area daughter off staff member, no fire alarm (should have by law) staff told everyone this is a drill everyone out and everyone went slow as they was not told it was a real fire. Staff claim they used blanket on the deep fat fryer for a small fire yet fire department were called. so clearly staff are not trainned on dealing with fires. No gate or anythink to stop small kids going into kithen area staff area were coats are from by ladys toliets staff just stand there and watch the small kids go into that area and not do anythink. Staff are very rude. Even the fire department was shocked with the Greece in the deep fat fryer said it must have been there for 10+ years so fire department are going to report them for theses problems aswell. Came today for the first time and i'm not sure i will return. The place is lovely and big but the under 3 area where i went with my little boy is a bit of a let down. Toys are run down, not many are still working and some were a bit sticky. That wasn't as concerning as seeing adults in there with their shoes on, kids without socks on and adults treating the area as a chill zone for them to loung and occupy the play area. Older children were also present in there and knocked my little boy down a few times as he is just starting to take a few steps by himself. There is no clear distinction in the under 3 between walkers and non walkers and the area was quite messy. No ball pool either. The staff that was there was so busy with the parties they had i never seen anyone pass to check that ppl adhere to the rules. Our baby water bottle had been taken from our table twice and i had to go look for it around the place. If you're planning on catching up with a bit of work while the kids play, this is not the soft play venue for you. WiFi is woefully slow (sub 0.3 Mbps upload and download speed every time I checked) which renders it almost useless. I spoke to a member of staff, who seemed unconcerned and said it was because there were a lot of people (I'd estimate 1/2 the tables were occupied), she apologised, but clearly not interested. Other than that, the place is clean and the kids seem happy, and the entry fee is reasonable (didn't try the food) but as I can't be productive while we're here, we won't be back.

• Following Management's response to this, I have now downgraded my review to 1 star. Apparently poor WiFi and making judgements about my parenting are company policy!! It is entirely possible to supervise an 8yr old and 6 yr old in such a facility while answering emails and updating spreadsheets etc - it's down to the individuals concerned.
