Had a great day on Dalbeattie trails. We went for a blue Moyle Hill route to start with, thinking of ourselves mostly as blue riders at Glentress (our local one) - found it far too easy and lacking features, only 35% single track - we should have figured out it was going to be the case. Recon it gets blue rating only due to steepness of ascents. Upshot was, we did red taster loop again and again after, really good fun!!! Unfortunately we didn't have the legs to try 25km red Hardrock trail this time, it will have to wait until next visit. One thing is worth a mention, I have a mild fobia of riding the boards, plenty of that at the start of blue loop, really nice and flat with gentle turns and quite considerable distance, I have managed to ride all of it and somewhat gained confidence. Really good place to come and tackle your demons if you have a similar issue ))) Even did the twisted ones at Mabie the next day! Car park £3 a day, toilets on site, bike wash. No showers. 4star due...
