Balmacara woodland walks — Attraction in Scotland

A beautiful woodland walk. Can't recommend this enough. I didn't know it existed but I'm so glad we found it. Lots of paths to walk, some harder than others. Lots of beautiful views and birds around to watch. Quite a few beauty spots for keen landscape photographers. A carpark is available at the top. Paths link down to the beach near the entrance. Not sure if toilets...

I love this place ...really is magical down by the shore line Follow the red route to the end then deviate down to the shore line ...theres a blue rope tied to a tree thats been there at leeast 3 years that will assist on a 4 ft drop ...but well worth...

The woods are beautiful from what we can see but they are closed due to disease at the moment....
