I love this park,I only gave it 4 stars because of the kids park. It gets very muddy if it's wet or been raining. Most parks have been updated with the spongy ground which means if it rains, kids can still play and not get wet/muddy. The grounds of the park are well maintained and grass is cut regularly. Lots of dogs walkers and nice scenery walking around the whole park. If the kids swing park got modernised/updated, then it would be 5 stars. A wee pond wouldn't go a miss but that's me...

We've lived here for 12 years now and although I don't like the place overall the park is absolutely lovely, the only downside is the same reason for my dislike of the town in general...fear of safety. I was attacked with a bottle whilst out running near the park so just be wary of the neds and avoid the park at night (it's pitch black). I'm only just getting back the courage, I missed walking through the park and seeing the different changes the...

The sloping path at the Kinloch Avenue side of Cairns road is BADLY in need of a strimming 😣 The grass is overgrowing onto to the path and there are nettles too which are both about 2 foot high. It is difficult to get a pram thru it. This long grass is a magnet for ticks which are very dangerous to our pets and wildlife! This bit of the park has totally been forgotten about and looks terrible. Someone needs to tidy this up...

Love this park. Really quite big with a number of water features. With football pitches and children's play area it has it all. Suitable for everyone, ideal for children and dog walking. Very tranquil listening to the birds chirping away and hearing the water running in the background. Parking not that far away from its many entrances.

We had a great time in this park. My dog enjoyed playong in the water. The autumn colours were lovely. I would suggest your wellies or walking boots when its raining if your going to walk on the grass as its very sludgie. A very well maintained park. We had a fantastic time. There are football pitches and play areas.

Went through this park to an appointment and it was lovely. Nice and clean and beautiful river running through it. The walk through was really enjoyable despite the dull day... I see that plenty of dog walkers use it and clean up after their pets. Want to go back and see it in the better weather...
