(urgent matter needing addressed)Very good place for a day out with the family, great variety of animals and abundant in things for kids like climbing frames, trampolines, rides, animal feeding (including tubes to feed animals that may bite also tractor you can crank to make it drive along a platform and dump the food out) and handling, slides and undoubtedly more i cant keep track off. Although there is an urgent matter needing addressed, when there today and ordering food i spoke to an very attentive caring server at the food till about being allergic to wheat and nuts to which she kindly gave me a binder full of allergens in the menu (my option was only realy loaded fries) i chose the squid and scampi loaded fries originally and the kind lady came back from the kitchen and informed me that it actually contains wheat breadcrumbs (NOT IN THE BINDER) and showed me options i can choose. If i would have ate that i would have been hospitalised and undoubtedly taking the matter to full lengths if the server hadn't said anything to the chef and just made the order as usual. Now of course i don't want any negative impact to this astonishingly beautiful & fun place and wouldn't want someone else to have extreme consequences to eating their very tasty food and would highly recommend an update on the binder & menu, maybe even an free from menu (you have vegan/veggie) i would have had a much more easy and faster ordering process if this was the case not to add eliminating the cue holdup that comes with having to communicate my allergies ect (no wheat sign on menu ether) i will surely be back and hope my ordering process is more convenient for myself and staff in the future. 100 stars for your waiting staff going above and beyond as this was the only reason i have returned home safe today (5 star review when fixed as this is an incredibly dangerous situation for...

Fantastic, large and lively park for so much to do for families! Definitely catering to children! Lots of swing park areas and dozens of playground attractions for kids to get involved in, as well as seeing the array of lovely animals such as alpacas, goats, ponies, owls, Shetland ponies, camels, wallabys, meercats, prairie dogs, lemurs, monkeys, and so much more! The eating area is also great to cater for both pic nics and indoor catering. Reason I don't give 5 stars is the lack of care for the animals on hot and busy days. There was not one member of staff at any enclosures when I was there, and it was 25 degrees, the animals were hot, frustrated and fed up, and water bowls needed filled up. The owls, most were okay, but there were two Tiny ones dehydrated, drying out with a sign saying they were resting but they were left in the sun, not the shade. There were also children climbing on the stable doors of Ben and Holly the big horses, hitting their faces and throwing food at them, and their parents didn't discourage, and Ben in particular was getting very upset and nervous, kicking his door and it shouldn't be up to a customer like me to try and calm the animals down, staff should shoo misbehaved kids away or if not, just to put animals at ease. I managed to calm Holly, but not Ben. Have more staff Manning the animals not just parks and catering. I don't doubt behind the scenes the animals are very well cared for though. The park is spotless and the animals are clean. Definitely a fantastic day out though! I'd...

Our first visit to heads of ayr farm Park July 2022 was an amazing fun filled day. Very easy to book online on the morning we leave, but you can just turn up and pay at the farm park if you wish. Parking was very good and welcomed by a lovely member of staff quick and easy check in. We had our daughter with us who has sensory issues but the farm park was excellent good open spaces too, lots to do. Our daughter loved the quad bikes £6 per child also have adults one which we didn't use but children's one is brilliant and worth every penny , ride on train £2 each also wheel chair accessible, bumper boats which is £2 per boat seats 2 people (cash only for all these) We also Fed the animals which was so nice to do. Animals were very well behaved and gentle taken food off your hands. Several play parks for children to play in. Suitable for all ages. Lots of different animals, birds etc to see. You will never run out of things to do. Gift shop stocked a lot of lovely gifts again something for everyone. Stone field restaurant we used for something to eat and I must say food was amazing and large portions freshly cooked. Although the restaurant inside was too noisy for my daughter but plenty of seating out side to takeaway or bring your own pack lunch. All staff very friendly and helpful.we definitely be returning. We have been to different farm and safari parks which are well known but not to this standard. So much to do here we loved every bit of it. Definitely recommend you will not be...

We had such a good day here even with all the covid restrictions in place. The park was busy but still plenty of space to social distance. There is pedal activated hand sanitizer stations and hand wash stations all over the park. The quad bikes give you what we called a "covid cap" essentially a plastic shower cap to wear under the helmet and the bikes were cleaned before and after your use. There are place to buy food to eat outdoors. Queues moved quickly and everyone was wearing masks. There was members of staff walking round constantly cleaning. The park itself still had loads for the kids to do and see even though the indoor sections are still closed off. We spent the whole day there and never were they bored even though one is a teen. We started off walking round all the animals. Then a shot on the little train (£2) before having lunch which was reasonably priced. Less than £20 for 3 adults and 2 kids from the grill next to the train. A play on the trampolines, then a shot on the adult quads which were £6 each. Then the kids just spent the rest of the afternoon playing in the park or watching the animals being fed. Finishing up with ice cream. I would definitely recommend this place for a day out. Just a 5min walk from Craig Tara as well so didn't need to worry about parking.

This is a lovely farm park and a definite must visit! Well worth the money with loads of different animals as well as parks, tractors, mini train, and other fun activities like a mini tobogganing, zip line and trampolins! As well as a decent soft play which is out of sight so won't distract children from the animals. Make sure you grab a bag of animal feed!! Only one issue I have as a horsefield tortoise owner if anyone from the park see's this... he shouldn't be housed with another species as they will fight especially if either or both are males as they are more aggressive. I understand he's probably a rescue and you're probably aware of his underbite, hopefully this is something you are working on solving as this can cause problems eating. Just some small upgrades would massive improve his health and lifestyle, including a slate plate instead of plastic one to support keeping his beak trimmed, top soil as a substitute as they dig to regulate their body temperature, safe weeds and flowers are much more nutritious and you have plenty of land to beable to grow your own. My horsefield (Fluffy) loves pansy's! I honestly had a wonderful visit with my family during our holiday, and if we ever holiday again in the area we will definitely return.
