This is a lovely park, or at least it should be. A lovely loch and a good path all round to do some exercise. What spoils it for me was the number of memorials to the dearly departed, while I'm not adverse to people remembering their loved ones they have totally gone over the top in this park. Almost every bench, and there are now a very great number has either got flowers or some sort of memento attached. The trees are bedecked with ribbons and sad little messages, teddy bears soft toys and colourful little windmills adorn the edges of the paths. All in all a rather gloomy and somewhat depressing air hangs around this place. I wrote to the authority who runs the park and received no reply from them about the rather gloomy aspect of the place, so I've left this review for anyone who cares to read it.
