Fantastic wee place we were staying close but at a lodge and found this on Google we came along to explore and what a wee treat the people who care for this place and the people who contributed to it past and present have done their selfs justice lots to do and explore in rhe park lots of small insects to squirrels running around alsoplenty of natural rocks and plenty of walking to get those kids tired they have a crafs centre open for the kids to make stuff and learn also a big play park for them to run around plenty of car parking and plenty of bins to put rubbish in thank you to the people who made this park...
Read moreOne of our favourite Glens, whatever the season a walk right to the top and back is so rewarding and a splice to the sole. With great gardens and early blossom of a cherry tree walk and fantastic children's playpark it's a Glen for all the family. It also boasts a craft centre with refreshments which if the weather turns unpleasant can entertain the young ones for at least an hour doing crafts which can be bought and taken home, allowing adults to enjoy a seat and cuppa in relative peace. , the glen has a lovely burn running along it's length with many bridges to walk across or stop and play...

The entrance unfortunately isn't very obvious unless you see someone drive in. But once you're in, WOW! Walking down the path of all the blossom trees was just beautiful.
There is a children's park, including a swing for wheelchairs! Which is a brilliant idea, and some exercise equipment like you see in a lot of parks at the moment.
The path and stream go up quite a stretch! So prepare for a good walk to get to the end,but every bit of the walk was lovely. If you want to be around nature and a place to be...
