Linn Park is one of many great public parks in Glasgow. It's situated in the South side of Glasgow just up the road from Queen's Park. As you can imagine it's very popular and can be busy at the weekends and on sunny days. It's a big park so there's plenty of space to find a quiet spot. The river Cart runs through the park and if its been raining the Linn Falls can make a nice photograph. There are lots of nice walks within the park although none are signposted but it's fun exploring, just use Google maps to give you a general idea of the layout of the park and off you go. To the south of the river stands Holmewood House which is a Scottish National Trust property which is well worth a visit.
