Honestly, unreal wee gem hidden in the southside 💖
We’re local and always looking for somewhere to go that’s dog friendly, nice atmosphere and has a nice simple breakfast and lunch menu without feeling like you need to order a full 3 course meal at lunch time.
We drove past this place today and seen 3 border collies sitting outside and promptly parked the car and walked round for a nosey with our own collie.
First off, anywhere that has ‘soup and a sandwich’ on their menu instantly gets my money 😂 I’m a simple gal and absolutely buzz over a soup and a sandwich deal at lunchtime and seriously, at £7.95, it’s unbelievable value for money!
The staff are so so friendly, chatty, helpful and go over and above for you.
I had their lemon pepper chicken wrap (seriously delicious and fresh ingredients but unreal taste!) and their homemade lentil soup 🤌🏻 partner asked for their meatball sub but in a wrap and I’ve never seen a more magical creation 😂 won’t lie, was kinda jealous. The owner then told us their meatball recipe is over 100 years old from his great great granny in Naples 🥲 so don’t sleep on the meatballs, you need to try them.
I had the perfect view of being able to watch the owner put together some sandwich orders and the amount of different, fresh and inventive ingredients they offer is so impressive, their cheese selection alone is worth going in every day!
Serious 10/10 for this place, can’t wait to go back and make our way through the rest of their menu, it’s honestly beyond reasonably priced especially for the southside, and the portions are BIG!
Thanks so much for an...
Read moreI stopped by with my 4 month old puppy on Friday - we sat outside the front area (nice dogs were seated with humans inside and out).
I had a lovely surprise; The Linn, I discovered, serves delicious, fresh breakfast & lunch foods (with the most AMAZING looking cakes 😍😍😍) ice-creams, milkshakes, tea & coffees. I opted for the Caribbean Chicken wrap with salad & potato crisps. It. Was. Deeeeeee-licious!!! 😊
I’m really difficult to please - so I was thrilled that I was satisfied in so many ways; great flavours, a joy to appreciate all the sublime and subtle levels of this recipe; the lime and chilli were just right for me: not too much, and really built subtly, leaving my mouth watering and my stomach satisfied.
I returned yesterday and got a take out salad roll (Salt beef and slaw this time - again: divine!)…
I just might have to work my way around the menu - so it’s just as well it’s part of my walk at Linn park! A delightful place; staff are very friendly, welcoming and yet, genuine. The decor gives off a warm, friendly ‘at home whilst being classy’ vibe. The bathroom and some of the wallpaper is chic and arty. I...
Read moreFrom the moment you step into Linn Coffee, you're enveloped in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. The staff here aren't just employees; they're like friends you haven't met yet, offering smiles and service that go beyond the norm.
But let's talk about the food - oh, the food! It's evident that every dish is crafted with love. Their homemade lasagne is a standout, layer upon layer of perfectly cooked pasta, rich, hearty sauce, and melted cheese that harmoniously meld in every bite.
Then there's the macaroni and meatballs - classic Italian dishes that Linn Coffee somehow makes taste like a novel delight. The meatballs are seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the macaroni is delightfully cheesy, just the way it should be.
Beyond the exceptional food, it's the homely touch that sets Linn Coffee apart. The decor, the ambiance, and the overall vibe make you want to linger longer, savoring your coffee, which, by the way, is...
